Christina is a UKCP registered psychotherapist. The tools she uses include hypnotherapy, cbt (cognitive behavioural therapy), and nlp (neuro linguistic programming). Christina has a longstanding mindfulness meditation practice which informs her work.
Clients present a wide variety of concerns, the most common include depression, anxiety, fear, phobias, past trauma, low confidence/self esteem, diagnosis of serious illness, cancer, gut related problems and bereavement. The work is generally outcome focussed and the average length of treatment is 3 – 12 one-hour sessions.
Christina has been involved in delivering a programme of psychotherapy, hypnotherapy and cbt to cancer patients, as part of a national audit and in treating consultant/gp referred IBS patients.
